O cinema de Tarkovski: apresentação da realidade e infinito ético

Dissertação que procura ser uma elucidação da obra de Andrei Tarkovski, situando-a a apartir de três níveis essenciais: o primeiro consiste numa interpretação das relações culturais contemporâneas, através da obra de Hermann Broch; o segundo é uma análise da obra e pensamento de Sergei Eisenstein e tem em conta a história ideológica e política da União Soviética como manifestação particular da tendência cultural contemporânea; o terceiro situa Tarkovski numa certa interpretação da evolução histórica da cultura cinematográfica.

Dissertation that intends to be a briefing of Andrei Tarkovski's work, through three essential levels: the first one consists in a contemporary interpretation of cultural relations through the workmanship of Hermann Broch; The second level is an analysis of the work and thought of Sergei Eisenstein and has in account ideological history and politics of the Soviet Union as particular manifestation of contemporary cultural trend; The third it points out Tarkovski in a certain interpretation of the historical evolution of cinematographic culture.
