Resumo
A dissertação, desenvolvida no âmbito dos Estudos Ingleses, estabelece uma relação comparativa entre a novela ""Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", escrita por Robert Louis Stevenson em 1886 e o filme "Fight Club", realizado por David fincher em 1999.
Através da análise das concordâncias e dissemelhanças entre as duas obras, o autor pretende legitimar a qualidade intemporal da novela, revelada através de uma rede de conexões que se projecta em "Fight Club".
Abstract
The dissertation, developed in the ambit of English studies, establishes a comparative relation between Robert Stevenson's novel "Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" written in 1886, and the movie "Fight Club" (1999) directed by David Fincher.
Through the analysis of the similarities and differences between the two works, the author intends to justify the timeless quality of the novel, revealed through a net of connections that it projects in “Fight Club“.
